Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Universal Engineering Workholding (UEW) Ltd manufacture and distribute a full range of workholding equipment including chucks, jaws, jigs and fixtures to all industry sectors from automotive to nuclear.

Design and manufacture

Universal Engineering has an in-house design department with long experience in the design of specialist workholding. We have produced bespoke workholding for industries ranging from automotive to nuclear; from heavy engineering to high-precision components and; from simple to complex geometries. Our CAD centre and manufacturing facility operate closely together, to provide a one-stop solution to specialist workholding requirements.

Second hand and refurbished chucks

We carry a wide range of refurbished and second hand chucks or we can refurbish your existing chucks to a high specification.
